Dinette and Bed Conversion
March-June 2023
I have been terrible at documenting the material we've purchased and the work that we have done with the van. In March Josh ordered two table tops from The Cutting Board company. One is 29"x24"x.75" and the other is 51"x24"x.75". These are used in the back of the van as our workplace, dining tables, and bed support. The tables use Lagun mounts that drop down so we can create a bed. Josh spent several weeks staining and epoxying the tables. He singed one of the tables using a blow torch trying to get bubbles out, but that created a nifty excuse for him to get creative. Hence how we have a beautiful pearl and copper flame design on one of the tables using metallic epoxy.
In June we ordered custom cut and stitched cushions for our bed and dinette area. After a lot of research and communicating with vendors, Josh ordered the cushions from RoamRest. We are pleased with how they look and feel.
